The island of Lefkada has perfect weather conditions with thermal winds which are ideal for windsurfing and kitesurfing.
The two beaches ideal for this are at Ag. Ioannis on the northern tip, 2km from Lefkada town and Vasiliki on the south coast, 38km from the town.
Another superb place for watersports is at Nidri beach and Perigiali beach, 17km from town, on the east coast which offers numerous watersports including jet skis, waterskiing, banana, ringos, pedaloes, canoes, wakeboarding, parasailing and fly fish. |
