LEFKADA AIRPORT
The airport that serves Lefkada is actually called Preveza Aktion Airport (airport code: PVK) and is located on the mainland.
Known also as Lefkada airport, it is located 20km from Lefkada Town.
There are daily domestic flights from Athens airport with a flight time of 55 minutes, and many charter flights from European cities in the summer months. It is worth noting that the airport is also a NATO airfield and Hellenic air base and therefore no photography is allowed.
The airport facilities include public telephones, car hire companies, taxi rank, cafe/bar, duty free shop and toilets.
