KEFALONIA AIRPORT
Kefalonia Island international Airport, (airport code: EFL) is located between Lassi and Minies, just 8 km to the south of Argostoli, the island's capital.
There are daily domestic flights to Athens with a flight time of 45 minutes plus many charter flights during the summer months.
Facilities at Kefalonia Island Airport are quite reasonable and passengers can expect to find a small number of shops and duty-free stores, an information desk, travel agencies, telephones, a variety of restaurants and bars, a post office and well-known car hire companies within the terminal.
Car parking facilities are composed of just over 100 spaces in total, all of which are conveniently sited close to the terminal.
The neighbouring islands of both Lefkas and Zakynthos can be reached by boat, using the frequent Ionian Island Hopper service.
